I think having a cat in the office is a brilliant idea - but I don't think the boss would approve.For me, cats are relaxing and having Charlie in the newsroom would certainly cheer me up.
One company in Kansas, America has not one but TWO office cats. The appearance of a couple of stray cats about 15 years ago has helped define River City Studio's corporate culture.
The company specialises in graphic design and marketing. Feline friends Yoda and Melia are part of the furniture and are even featured on the company's website!

Librarian Vicky Myron wrote a book about how his presence in the library not only soothed the staff but the library-goers as well. It's an excellent read, so give it a go.
